Eid al-Fitr, also called the “Festival of Breaking the Fast” or simply Eid, is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.

The celebration of Eid Al-Fitr lasts one day, starting with the sighting of the new moon which marks the end of the Islamic month of Ramadan and the beginning of the next month.

Eid Mubarak or (Arabic: عيد مبارك‎) is an Arabic term that means “Blessed Feast/festival”. To wish someone a happy Eidyou can simply sign “Eid Mubarak”, which means you are wishing them a “blessed Eid.”
