7th July 2011
RNID celebrated its centenary on Thursday 9th June 2011 with a bold new identity – Action on Hearing Loss – and as ever Remark! Translation were right in the thick of things.
Remark! Translation were honoured to be asked to provide the British Sign Language translation for Action on Hearing Loss’ new website. Head of Translation, Rebecca Edwards, worked alongside Action on Hearing loss on the exciting project, carefully selecting a team of expert BSL presenters that would match the new identity, before filming in Remark!’s fully equipped studio.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed being involved in this project. I have especially enjoyed working with the Action team, Heidi, Clare and Jo and I’m very proud to see their beautiful new website. Remark! has always held close links with Deaf organisations and we’ve relished continuing that relationship." Rebecca Edwards, Head of Translation
To raise a glass to Action on Hearing Loss’ new name, and to celebrate their centenary year, Rebecca attended celebrations on Thursday 9th June at their Featherstone offices – a stone’s throw from Remark!’s own Leather Lane offices.
An exciting time for Action on Hearing Loss, congratulations to everyone involved! Remark! Translation look forward to working with Action on Hearing Loss’ again in the future.
