Google Deaf Awareness Training

Remark’s BSL tutor Nadia Nadarajah ran the first of a series of Deaf Awareness Training workshops at Google’s Head Office in Victoria.  Fifteen members of Google’s management and recruitment team took part in an interactive and informative workshop, packed full of information about Deafness, communication tactics, sign language and lip reading.

The comments seem to reflect a day enjoyed by all:

“Best trainer on any subject – Great delivery of a fascinating subject”

“I really feel like signing up for a sign language course.  It was really interesting understanding the different types of Deafness and how Nadia took the time to share her own experience – Thank you”
