Interpreter Training Programme (ITP)

Remark! are hosting the Interpreter Training Programme in partnership with Action on Hearing Loss.

The course is aimed at students who already have the NVQC 3 or working towards NVQC 6 and wish to register as a JTI.

The programme includes formal theoretical and practical training as an interpreter, which is essential if you plan to register with NRCPD as a JTI.

  • Dilemmas and ethical principles and professionalism
  • Practical
  • Co-working/Self employment
  • JTI Assessments


The course will be taught by:

  • Jackie Griffiths


All students must complete all units and pass the assessment in order to register as JTI.

Note: On completion of the course in order for NVQC 3 JTI students to become a fully qualified TSLI it is mandatory that they complete the NVQC6 in BSL and the second part of the Interpreting course which can be completed with Action on Hearing Loss
