The Hub

The Hub - by Deaf People, for Deaf People, is a new style of television show which gets the inside story on events and issues affecting the Deaf community.

Based in a news 'Hub' the team prides itself on collecting news from around the UK - sorting gossip from truth and information from misinformation. The Hub is the place to come to find out what's really going on!

The programme invites it's viewers to contribute their own footage, stories and views. So if you have a story, send in your clips of events and tell us about issues you want us to investigate.

The Hub is commissioned by the British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT).  BSLBT commissions a range of BSL presented programmes which are shown on the BSL Zone, providing opportunities for Deaf people working on and behind the camera.  Visit BSLBT's website for information on how to watch the programmes on television and online.  The BSL Zone went live on the Community Channel on 21st January 2009 and is now also broadcast on Film4.
