See Hear is a long-running, established strand with a strong following amongst the Deaf and hard of hearing communities. It is a magazine format, and it covers a diverse range of stories, from consumer items to current affairs, arts, science, history and politics.
We are looking for Assistant Producers and Researchers to join our base of candidates who are offered contracts as and when they arise.
Assistant Producers
Working as part of an established production team, you’ll structure, script, direct and edit your own films as well as develop and produce stories. You’ll produce content rich films that appeal to See Hear’s core Deaf and hard of hearing viewers as well as the broader BBC 2 daytime audience. In addition you’ll manage on screen talent and a variety of different relationships.

Researchers
Working as part of an established production team you’ll be researching, developing and producing stories that appeal to See Hear’s core Deaf and hard of hearing viewers as well as to the broader BBC 2 daytime audience. You’ll source contributors and locations for short and long-form films that will help make up the 30-minute episodes.
