BBC on look out for new Deaf presenters

The BBC has launched a nationwide search for new Deaf and disabled presenters under The PresentAble training scheme.

Shortlisted candidates will be screen tested in Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast, London, Salford and Bristol before being put on a high-quality training scheme later this year to develop their on-air skills.

There are no guaranteed jobs but BBC chiefs insist applicants will be given the practical experience, media contacts and a showreel to build their aspiring presenting careers.

If you or someone you know who may be interested in applying for PresentAble, you can complete an online application and upload a minute video by 31st January 2012.
