Remark! Interpreting recognises the importance of qualified interpreters continuing to develop and learn new skills, and we also we believe that happy interpreters leads to increased customer satisfaction.
So... one of the best things about Remark! Interpreting is all the free on-going training (via our in-house training division), feedback and supervision we give our interpreters!
Throughout the year we hold monthly training courses on a variety of topics allowing sign language professionals to gain a better and more in-depth understanding of different issues. It is hoped that, in turn, this will benefit the Deaf community in which they work.
We also offer a mentoring service to our budding interpreters and CSWs. We have available a range of highly skilled and experienced MRSLIs on hand to provide advice or to act as just a sounding board for new experiences or problems.
We strongly believe in investing in our staff, whether in-house or our regular pool staff members. This ethos will benefit both the interpreter, who will gain professional development, and the clients, who get better quality interpreters. We also benefit because a quality of service leads to customer loyalty. This is our secret formula for success!
On completion of the course all students will be given a certificate of attendance which can be used to provide evidence for ASLI CPD points.
