Claire Braden of Century Films Ltd produced a one hour documentary about young Deaf people. She spent the day with Remark! Translation filming one of her contributors, Christiana, who wanted to find out what it was like to work in a BSL media environment.
Remark! has always supported Deaf people in the workplace and is the UK’s largest employer of BSL users, so we were delighted to welcome Christiana to our office and very much enjoyed seeing her on screen.
Deaf Teens Hearing World aired on BBC3 Monday night, 6th February. It has created a flurry of excitement within the Deaf community, especially the phrase ‘my chicken is ill’…. Curious? Find out more by viewing the programme on BBC IPlayer.
