BSLBT launching new Ambassador scheme

BSLBT are launching a pilot scheme for Ambassadors to raise awareness of the BSL Zone within the Deaf community.

BSLBT outreach worker, Steven Wynne, needs help maintaining links with the Deaf community after his visits, and he also needs help in identifying new groups that he can visit.

The aim is to recruit some highly respected Deaf people as volunteers to:

• ‘spread the sign’ about what BSLBT offers
• invite Deaf people to come to the BSL Zone Showcase in London on
       15.9.2012
• provide a channel for Deaf people to give ideas and feedback on BSL
       Zone programmes
